Williams F1 carbon fibre fiber & titanium wishbone arm real Formula 1 Senna car display part motorsport engineering racing gift

Genuine race & test used part Williams FW34 F1 racecar driven by Bruno Senna & Pastor Maldonado during the 2012 F1 race season.

This front upper wishbone is critical suspension part, if this part were to fail, you'd be going straight into the barriers!

Complete with a spherical bearing and wiring for load sensors & data monitoring systems.

The arms are made from carbon fibre which has been moulded into an aerodynamic profile and these then have titanium bearing housings & flex joints bonded into the ends of them them, it is also fitted with a high precision spherical bearing.

An exceptionally lightweight, yet very strong component which would have cost well over $20,000 to design develop & manufacture. The wires coming out of it are for the strain gauges that are embedded into the carbon arms, this relay valuable information back to the engineers about how the car is performing and the loads being generated.

Would make a great display item that could easily be mounted to your wall.

The arms measures approx 23" & 19.5" (58cm & 50cm).

Given it's heritage it would make a great gift for any motorsport fan, engineer or car enthusiast.
